2007 Stikine River Valley Gospel Music Fest!

Wow! What a celebration was enjoyed this year at Willie and Grace William's ranch--we were incredibly blessed taking home wonderful memories and filled with anticipation for the 2008 festival!

Five friends from Cloverdale Christian Fellowship in Surrey joined us at the Stikine Fest this year--Kim Fraser, Deborah Krouse, Jacob and Ida Schuurman, and Ford Burden drove the long distance from the lower mainland of BC. They took home awesome testimonies--met new friends to keep in touch with--they threw their hearts into whatever tasks presented--they were immensely blessed by their experiences. ( The local mosquito population rejoiced at their coming and were lessened by their departure; however, the Intrepid Five lived to tell the tale of the insect battalions of Northern BC)

We received inspired Biblical teaching from Larry Keegstra from Vanderhoof--in addition to the usual amazing gospel music presented so faithfully and beautifully by the local Tahltan and visiting musicians. One won't quickly forget the hilarious banter of Randy Adams and Judy Desjarlais! Andy Quock and Ivan Mercer faithfully tended the sound equipment--Willie and Grace as always were the 'Hosts with the Mostest!' liberally dispensing welcome and God's love to all who came. So many people help out incredibly-- cooks working tirelessly to feed the hungry hoards-- contributions of local people, financial and with salmon and meat--many hands made a lot of work lighter.

Thank you, Willie and Grace, for your incredible generosity, hard work and love to all who come to be blessed at this annual event. We are praying and looking forward to next year's event--
to be held in the new concert facility!? With the Lord's help and blessings--until next year
in the Stikine Valley.

I love you, Willie and Grace, and your family. You are surely 'Grandparents' in the Lord to so many people--including myself! God has blessed us richly! God bless you guys! We love you!

Praise the Lord for His goodness!

Stikine Valley River Crossing Floodwaters

The Stikine River overflowed its banks many days ago at the bridge crossing. Please pray the floodwaters will abate in time for the week of June 17th-24th for preparations for the Stikine Valley River Crossing Gospel Music Festival-- also please pray the entire length of Highway 37 from Kitwanga north be open for travellers to attend this amazing celebration. As the snow pack is still melting, the timing of the river peaking and ebbing is crucial to the music festival's success and safety!
Willie and Grace Williams, the hosts-owners of the ranch where the festival is held have moved temporarily from the ranch into Dease Lake as floodwater is running across their ranch property.
Please pray for Willie and Grace no damage will occur to their ranch.
On Wednesday night my friend Heather Syms and I drove to the Stikine Bridge to view the flood firsthand--an amazing site--the waters rushing and very muddy carrying huge trees and debris. I am praying that since we now have the physical manifestation of floodwaters, the spiritual manifestation will follow in their path.
If you can imagine the grandeur and power of muddy river waters overflowing their banks, can you envisage and pray the higher ideal--the incredible beauty of God's living waters flowing from under His throne--overflowing from the tip of Northern BC down to the mouth of the Fraser River. YAY, GOD! It's coming!! Rivers of living waters! Pray for it--and believe for it!
In his great and abiding love,
God bless you!
Look to see you all at the ranch for the Fest!

The Pastor and the Irish Prophet May 9-12/07

May 9th/07 Pastor Randy Emerson (of Cloverdale Christian Fellowship Church, Surrey BC) and a visiting prophet from Ireland named Brendan McAuley drove from the lower mainland to Dease Lake to deliver a car to me. The car is an amazing gift from Tiina Haikonen--what a blessing for me personally and for the ministry! Thank you, Tiina and God bless you!
On Thursday evening an imprompu Prophetic Evening was held at Living Waters Community Church. The Lord spoke blessing to our small congregation--future blessings to come through the prophet Brendan! We were all prophesied over and touched by the Lord's grace that evening.

Living Waters Community Church graciously hosted Pastor Randy and Brendan. Many thanks,
Pastors Gerritt and Lize Apperloo for your hospitality in welcoming them into your fellowship of believers and for 'putting them up'! Blessings!

On Friday, Randy, Brendan and I drove from Dease Lake to Mauricetown where we stayed overnight with Pastor George and Corinne Joseph and family. We had a delightful visit overnight. Was wonderful to find David Alexander visiting there as well that night!

After an amazing dinner of moose roast, panfried moose tenderloin, smoked dried salmon as main course and Corinne's amazing cheesecake for dessert we attended services at the Full Gospel Fellowship Church just outside of Mauricetown. Brendan was able to join in the worship with his Irish drum--and given opportunity to speak blessing into the lives of the people that night. We were invited to a midnight meal in the church basement before returning home after one am.

We were up and running--on the road again by 6:00AM--heading for Terrace BC for Randy and Brendan to catch their flight to Vancouver at 9:00AM.

They are safely home! Thank you, Lord! and my drive back to Dease Lake was amazing! God's creation is fully splendid along Highway 37. I saw moose, many bears and four bear cubs, deer,
mountain sheep, eagles, geese, grouse. What an amazing country!

I was blessed and relieved to see Dease Lake's street lights (the few there are!) in the distance. The road is long between Kitwanga and Dease Lake (491 kms.) but certainly reward in its beauty!

I am grateful to Pastor Randy and Brendan for making the trip to Dease Lake--many people received words of encouragement from the Lord--one woman received her prayer language along the way home--and I was given delivery of a beautiful car (including three months car insurance). Thank you, Lord--and blessings upon Randy and Brendan in their faithfulness to hear you and to my home church of Cloverdale Christian Fellowship.

In His love,
holly

Stikine River Valley Crossing Gospel Music Festival

STIKINE RIVER VALLEY GOSPEL MUSIC FESTIVAL June 22-24, 2007 weekend! This annual Gospel Music Festival is located on Willy and Grace Williams' beautiful ranch on the Stikine River Valley. Willy Williams was given a vision by the Lord many years ago of a center built on the ranch. Over the years the vision has unfolded into a covered music hall, a dining hall and a cookhouse built for the occasion.
This wonderful Spirit-filled event is attended by local people and tourists who 'accidentally' find their way to the ranch--caught up in the music, hospitality and the influence of the music and the Holy Spirit.
The food for the three day event is donated from the neighboring communities and residents.
A team of dedicated volunteers work to make this an event dedicated to the love of the Lord and to His people.
First Nations and non-aboriginal musicians, pastors, evangelists come from all over the province to contribute to this Festival. Bible Studies, impromptu teachings flow in the Holy Ghost power of our God.
Sure looking forward to this years offering!
